Counselling in Wilmslow and Sale, Cheshire and Online
Counselling is a way of helping people manage and cope with different emotions and behaviours.
A counsellor gives you a safe, confidential place so that you can talk to someone who won’t judge you and can help you make sense of things and understand yourself better. It can help you resolve complicated feelings or indeed find ways to live with them. It can also help you recognise unhelpful patterns in the way you think or behave and give strategies to change them.
Integrative counselling is a type of therapy that uses many different techniques that suit your particular circumstances, thoughts and behaviours rather than making you fit into one particular ideology.
I offer counselling in Wilmslow and Sale, Cheshire or online for your convenience.

What is the Difference between Counselling and Coaching?
A life coach is someone who is trained to help you see where you are now and then work with you to find ways for you to move forward. In this way they help you fulfil your potential, identify and acknowledge obstacles and ways of moving past them. This is often an action based approach.
A counsellor helps you to identify and solve problems, they give you the space and support for you to explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours and then gives you the strength, tools and clarity in order to move forward.
They are both similar in that they help you to create a better life in an environment which is both supportive and non-judgemental. They can both help you to work towards goals and can help in all areas of your life. They both help you identify your stumbling blocks and how you can overcome these.
